DINAMINE presented at the ReMag Summer School
At this year’s ReMag Summer School, a key event dedicated to advancing knowledge on permanent magnet recycling and critical raw materials (CRMs), DINAMINE made a strong impression among leading researchers and industry experts.
Organized by the National Institute of Chemistry within the ReMag project, the event brought together a dynamic mix of project partners and affiliated initiatives. Through presentations, laboratory visits, and a round-table discussion, participants explored both the pressing challenges and emerging opportunities in sustainable resource management.
Representing DINAMINE, Nina Lokar delivered an engaging oral presentation that captured the audience’s attention. Her talk highlighted the project’s cutting-edge work, with particular focus on the development of a carbon footprint model tailored for mining-related processes. This innovative approach aims to provide more accurate insights into environmental impacts, supporting the transition toward more sustainable and responsible raw material sourcing.
DINAMINE’s contribution underscored the importance of integrating environmental assessment tools into the lifecycle of critical materials – an area of growing significance as global demand continues to rise.
The event not only fostered collaboration across projects but also reinforced a shared commitment to sustainability and innovation in the CRM sector.
