The DINAMINE project continues to move from innovation to impact, this time, deep underground at the Skaland Graphite mine in Norway.

The project team recently hit a major milestone with on-site testing of the semi-autonomous drilling jumbo, developed by partner AMV. Designed for the unique challenges of underground mining, the jumbo successfully executed automated boom guidance to drill at the tunnel face—marking a significant step in smarter, safer mine development.

What makes it even more powerful? The drilling jumbo communicates directly with an automated geological and geotechnical mapping system—optimising drill-and-blast performance with precision and efficiency.
