Last month DINAMINE partners AMV and NGI teamed up at AMV’s manufacturing and testing facility in Flekkefjord to trial three new technologies before they are deployed at the project pilot sites. 

AMV developed a custom drilling jumbo with semi-autonomous boom guidance, designed for navigating and operating in the underground mining environment. 

NGI developed both a real-time safety system and a 3d mapping system for optimised drilling and blasting patterns.  

The project team was delighted to see these technologies working as planned and look forward to seeing them deployed on-site at the DINAMINE mine industry partners.
